A Pathfinder Role Playing Game compatible adventure for 1st-3rd level characters.
Fish Sticks is the first book (of seven) in The Uncommon Commoners campaign series. In this semi-epic campaign, the uncommon commoners will fulfill their destiny. Or die trying. Or both—if their destiny is to die trying.
Bound by destiny and linked by a secret from the past, the uncommon commoners must face their first semi-great challenge, best explained by the following uncommon poem:
Welcome to Pisco, our village.
Which, I hope, you will not pillage.
Though the village smells please do not go!
I beg you to listen to our tale of woe!
Once we were happy and full of weal.
Now the place smells like a dead seal!
As for the cause of our pain
You do not need a giant brain
Nor the diviner’s art
To know that the fish do fart!
I am at my wit’s end!
Help us, or I’ll go around the bend!
That is what I have to say.
If you won’t help us, I bid you good day!
The Uncommon Commoners #1: Fish Sticks is a Pathfinder Role Playing Game compatible adventure. It is intended for a party of 1st-3rd level uncommon commoner characters (included in the adventure). While the adventure is written to be humorous and fairly light, it is also designed to be suitable for serious game play.
Here are some of the features of the adventure:
- Detailed color maps for the adventure.
- Fully developed NPCs, complete with detailed descriptions, backstories and motivations. And loot.
- An actual plot. Really. In at least two senses of the term. Plus combat, of course.
- Full statistics are included for all encounters—no need to look up monsters.
- Pre-Generated uncommon commoners with backstories, catch phrases, special abilities and special feats.
- New NPC classes (the magician and the wilds warrior).
- New Traits & Feats (resilience, focused healer, heroic resilience, devoted healer, and doorman).
- New rules for intelligent mounts.
- New Spells (accompanying performer, amplify instrument, entourage, loud speak, and saltball).
- New Magic Items & Equipment(boots of underwater walking, dancing sea bird, elixir of dancing, elixir of drunken dancing, necklace of saltballs, sexy tiara, salt bomb, bubble weed and Kelok crossbow).
- 86 pages of adventure (includes maps)!

I am Donk Lee, and I thoroughly recommend this adventure. It stars me, the handsome, talking, ass-kicking kicking ass, and my cast of supporting commoner characters. Enjoy! Or no waffles for you, Bitches!!
Why is #3 not available on paizo? Your products need some reviews, I suggest sending a few free samples to Endzeitgeist, the prolific PFRPG reviewer extraordinaire…

No idea. I went through the upload process long ago, then did a follow up. 1,2 and 5 are available, but 3 and 4 do not show, despite the fact that everything seems fine when I check my account.
Greetings! I’m a proud owner of the first adventure via Paizo (I am, to date, merely waiting to get to play it!), and was interested in getting the rest, however I was unable, as you said, to find number 3.
Through great searching, I was able to find numbers 2, 4, and 5 (though finding number four took me a bit of searching).
2, The Dour Temple: http://paizo.com/products/btpy97so?Uncommon-Commoners-2-The-Dour-Temple
3, ????: ????
4, Wizard Valley: http://paizo.com/products/btpy97vw?Uncommon-Commoners-4-Wizard-Valley
5, An Unexplained Journey: http://paizo.com/products/btpy9chu?Uncommon-Commoners-5-An-Unexplained-Journey
… and, from your comment, I take it that 6 and 7 aren’t printed yet?
I was hoping for more insight on the situation, but I suppose none is available at present.
Regardless, thank you for creating these adventures! If you have an account at Paizo, feel free to PM me, or make any public commentary there, in a thread I created about this:
Thank you for the great ideas, though! I’ll also try and contact their website staff and see if there’s anything they can mention about it (probably by making a new thread under Website Feedback), and might recommend that you do the same (or even comment on that thread, if you’d be so inclined)!
Thank you again for your time and work, and peace to you, sir! 😀
A’ight. It looks like you kind of “weed out” any url links. Got it.
Re-posting with a slightly different format…
Trying to make a post for a [s]second[/s] third time!
I am Tacticslion (obviously), and am a customer who is a proud owner of the first via Paizo.com!
I was looking to own the rest, but from your comment, I’m guessing that six and seven don’t yet exist?
Also, just for public record…
Number 2, The Dour Temple, Number 4, Wizard Valley, and Number 5, An Unexpected Journey are all linked in my thread titled “Uncommon Commoners: The Broken Line of… well, Adventures, really. Any help finding them?”
I started the thread mentioned above in an attempt to find the rest, but others were as stymied as I.
After just reading your reply here, I started the thread, “[s]Mario[/s] Uncommon Commoners is Missing!” to hopefully contact the website people there. I hope you can do so as well, as an author!
If you have an account at Paizo.com, feel free to PM me on that site, or comment in either of those threads – a public statement from the author would be great!
Thank you for making these adventures, and I look forward to actually putting them into play!

Sorry-as you suspected the spam filter snagged your first and second posts. I freed the first one and deleted the duplicate.
I have all the maps and stats done for #6 (Fighta Club) and #7 (Baked Bads) and they have been playtested. What I have left is writing out the full text, the interior art and the covers.
I did upload 1-5 to Paizo. #3 and #4 show up in my account, but do not appear on the site. I tried updating them, to no avail. They are available at DriveThruRPG with no problem, though. I will also eventually release the Collected Uncommon Commoners. I also have a dream that someday there will be a “deluxe version” with custom art done by a professional, such as Phil Foglio.
